There are two national and three regional beekeeping societies in the USA that periodically issue newsletters. The largest and oldest (1943) national association is the American Federation of Beekeepers http://www.abfnet.org/default.aspx. The other national association is comprised mainly of commercial beekeepers, who make up the American Honey Producers Association http://americanhoneyproducers.org/. The oldest and largest of the regional beekeeping societies is the Eastern Apicultural Society www.easternapiculture.org/. It's counterpart is the Western Apicultural Society http://westernapiculturalsociety.org/. The newest regional association is the Heartland Apicultural Society http://www.heartlandbees.org/. All five associations have web pages, newsletters, and most have Facebook pages.
